The dedicated NSPCC helpline number is 0800 136 663, which will be live from today. The helpline will be available to both children and adults who are victims of sexual abuse in schools with the appropriate support and advice. It includes how to contact the police and report crimes if you wish. The helpline will also provide support to parents and professionals.

The governors and school staff of Parkfield School place the utmost importance in ensuring the safety of all our students. 

If you are concerned about yourself, or any member of our school community, please do email safeguarding@parkfield.bournemouth.sch.uk. A member of the team will actively support you to address any issues. They are fully trained and experienced in dealing with a wide range of issues and challenges faced by young people and can be contacted directly, or via your class teacher or community leader.


 

If you have any welfare concerns concerning a child or young person’s safety during the school closure period please contact MASH (BCP Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub). 

Dorset Safeguarding brings agencies together in one place (Poole Police Station). It includes staff from Dorset and; the new Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council children’s social care services alongside Dorset Healthcare and Dorset Police.

OUT OF HOURS:

The Children’s Social Care Out of Hours service is the emergency response service for any child who is in crisis, needs urgent help or is at serious risk of significant harm.

Hours of operation are 5pm to 9am from Monday to Friday, all day Saturdays and Sundays and all bank holidays.
