Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-up Premium
The Literacy and Numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support Year 7 pupils who did not achieve at least Level 4 in reading and/or maths at the end of Key Stage 2 (KS2). The funding for 2013/14 was £500 per eligible student.
Examples of how the funding can be used are:
- individual tuition
- intensive small-group tuition
- external services and materials, such as computer-based learning resources
- summer schools that help students catch up over a short period of time
In 2013/14 Parkfield School received £1,000 in Year 7 Catch Up Funding
In 2014/15 Parkfield School received additional Catch Up Funding of £3,500 (7 students).
